Preservation tools and manuals

The digital preservation repository of the National Library, more commonly known as the NDHA (National Digital Heritage Archive), is used for the long-term preservation of the born-digital and digitised items created or collected by the Library. The NDHA consists of a number of tools and integrates with various other systems to support the acquisition, management, and ongoing preservation of these items. Some of the various tools we use are:

Rosetta - The core of the NDHA's digital preservation infrastructure.

Indigo - A tool to submit digital material to the NDHA.

Web Curator Tool  or WCT is a tool for acquiring web material

Metadata Extraction Tool - A tool to automatically extract preservation-related metadata from digital files

Custom tools and scripts - A collection of custom tools and scripts we use.
